Interlibrary Loan Update

I would like to thank everyone for their patience over the last couple of weeks with the ILL issues. Due to the ice storm and the storm last Friday we have not recieved and ILL delivery in the last two weeks. I have spoken with the regional library and we will be receiving a delivery this Friday. So keep your fingers crossed for a nice day on Friday.

Holiday Closings

Just a reminder the library will be closed the following dates during the next two weeks for the holidays.

Thursday December 25th

Thursday January 1st

Interlibrary Loan

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to inform you that last Friday's Interlibrary Loan delivery was cancelled due to the weather. This means that we have not recieved any items though Interlibrary Loan . If you are waiting for and item it will be here on Friday.

Cookie Fun

On Saturday Jodi hosted a cookie decorating program here at the library and I thought that I would share some of the fun they had with you.

Automation Update

I know that everyone will be as excited as I am with the latest automation update. Starting in January 2009 the library will begin automating process. This is a large undertaking that will take time, but by 2010 we should have a fully functional online catalog that you can search from anywhere in the world. This process will bring with it a lot of new and exciting changes to our small library. All of which I will keep you updated on.

The first of these many changes are the barcodes that we are placing on all of the books and movies in the library. This is the first of many small steps that we will take over the next months. As this is a large project, we are looking for help. So if you are interested in helping please contact myself or Jodi.
