I know that everyone will be as excited as I am with the latest automation update. Starting in January 2009 the library will begin automating process. This is a large undertaking that will take time, but by 2010 we should have a fully functional online catalog that you can search from anywhere in the world. This process will bring with it a lot of new and exciting changes to our small library. All of which I will keep you updated on.
The first of these many changes are the barcodes that we are placing on all of the books and movies in the library. This is the first of many small steps that we will take over the next months. As this is a large project, we are looking for help. So if you are interested in helping please contact myself or Jodi.
